Sweet 'N' Sour Pork Ribs |
Ingredients
2 kgs pork spare ribs
4 tbsp ginger garlic paste
2 green chilies slit lengthwise
1 tsp red chilie powder
2 tsp black pepper powder
4-5 tbsp sweet soy sauce
1 tbsp salty soy sauce
2 tbsp vinegar
½ tsp ajino moto (optional)
Directions
Marinate pork ribs overnight with
ginger garlic paste, a little soy sauce, some vinegar and pepper powder. Next
day put the pork ribs in a deep dish along with the green chilies and some
water. Cook on medium heat with the dish covered. Check during intervals and
stir adding water if necessary. When the meat is almost done and water has
almost dried up, add the remaining sauces, vinegar and pepper powder. Fry the
pork ribs a bit in its own oil. Check the seasoning as salt won’t be necessary
since the soy sauce is quite salty.
