Chicken with Peppers |
Ingredients
1 kg chicken cut into pieces
2 green peppers chopped into
squares
1 white onion chopped into
squares and layers separated
1 large potato cubed
½ tsp oregano
2 tbsp white wine
½ tsp black pepper powder
Salt to taste
Olive Oil
Directions
In a deep and heavy bottomed pan,
heat some oil and fry the potatoes. Remove and keep aside. Apply some salt to
chicken and fry the chicken pieces in the same pan. Add some black pepper
powder. When chicken is browned and cooked, remove the pieces and keep aside.
Now add the onions and peppers and fry for 2 minutes. Return the chicken to the
pan and add wine. Mix and add the pepper powder and oregano. Check the
seasoning. You can also add some fried cashews.
