Baked Pasta Oregano

Baked Pasta Oregano

Ingredients
500 gms Penne or Elbow Pasta
1 packet chicken sausages cut diagonally
2 flakes garlic crushed, using a garlic crusher
1 can chopped/strained tomatoes
2 tsp Oregano
1 tsp black pepper powder
½ tsp paprika
4 tbsp Olive Oil
250 gms cheddar cheese grated
Salt to taste

Directions

Cook pasta in salted boiling water till al dente. Drain and keep aside. In a large pan heat oil and sauté the crushed garlic. Add chicken sausages and fry for a few minutes. Add the tomatoes, stir and cook for a few minutes. Season the sauce and add paprika, black pepper powder and oregano. Add the cooked pasta and mix well. Add a handful of grated cheese to the pasta and mix. Transfer the pasta with sauce to an oven proof dish. Spread the remaining grated cheese on top of the pasta. Bake in oven at 180 deg C for 5 minutes or until the cheese melts. Serve hot.
